Empower yourself, get the most from sewing by learning about your sewing machine

YOU WILL LEARN HOW TO:

Choose correct needle, stitch type and length, for different fabrics

Insert a zipper
-
Use the buttonhole attachment
-
Attach buttons with your machine
-
Change foot pressure
-
Execute correct techniques for a professional finish
You will create reference sampler of machine stitches.
WHAT TO BRING:
This workshop requires students to bring their own sewing machine, scissors, permanent fabric pen, pins and 20cm square scraps of different types of fabric (e.g jersey, woven cotton, fleece, corduroy, velvet, etc).
*A spare sewing machine and Scrap material will be available, if needed.
SKILL LEVEL:
This is a beginner workshop.

All workshops run with a minimum of four students. If workshops are cancelled in response to COVID-19 restrictions, classes will be rescheduled and/or a full refund will be provided.
